Are we worth it? Is this worth it? What is the "it" we are talking about? It's our willingness to be uncomfortable for the Gospel, The Good news about Jesus Christ. It's our willingness to put on our shoes and go and tell someone about what Jesus has done by his death on a cross. His willingness to give up his life in exchange for your life. His willingness to pay the penalty for every lie, everything you ever stole, every word of anger or hatred spoken out of your mouth to someone else. His willingness to remove all the anger, unforgiveness and bitterness out of your soul so you can have peace. He is your peace, your redeemer, your savior if you let him be It's as simple as asking. Jesus, I've sort of messed up my life can you please take the _________________ (fill in the blank) out of me and replace it with your love. I accept your gift to me. It's just that simple and YES you are worth it. We are worth it. This really is good news and we should tell others about it. Pastor Darlene
